Beautifully made by Pacific Coast artisans, detail is rather unique with slightly raised centers on the 24 sun points and spiral piping around mirror and moon face. Half-moon face is actually pressed and cut rather than painted on, so it'll never scratch off. The mirror itself is bordered with small 28 u-shaped tabs extending from the spiral piping, each tab has a raised circular center. In all, like the heavens themselves, this wall mirror has a very pleasing and subtle appearance projected by the varied and artistically blended geometry. The entire wall mirror has a circular, metal one inch deep back so the outer sun points cast a shadow on the wall behind.
