With the deluxe TTUSB10 model you may even convert old cassette tapes using the turntable's stereo in jack; ION Turntable transfers music from your stereo cassette player to your computer via USB cable. TTUSB10 and TTUSB05 function the same, however TTUSB05 cannot input cassette tapes- TTUSB10 will. The ipTUSB portable turntable is a really slick machine and will input to cassettes just like the TTUSB10. Additionally, ipTUSB can run on either battery power (6 D cell) or an AC adaptor. ipTUSB does not have a dust cover but does have a removable top case for portability. Pricing: Canadian orders ship direct from a central distribution center in Canada, so there are no additional costs (customs broker fees and transportation costs have been pre-paid) payable at your. USA orders ship direct from the US supplier to the US customer so are not subject to any additional costs to reach a US address and because the item ships from within the US importation costs do not apply.

ION Turntables utilize EZ Audio and/or Audacity software to clean up and organize music from vinyl to digital format. (EZ Vinyl converter). Further, there's Audacity online help should require greater familiarity .

Just wanted to drop a line to tell you that I am having a great time with the ION ipUSB turntable. I am using an iMac Leopard and the software loaded like a dream (as long as you follow the instructions), was even able to archive a few favourite cassettes and my 8G iPod is getting full. Seems to have been meant for a Mac.
