Ice Away.

... enjoyed the use of this outstanding product - it works! At the time of this writing an early storm has arrived blanketing everything in 15-20 centimeters (7-10 inches) of snow. Everything, that is, except a 3 foot square space outside my front door where Ice-Away mat has kept the snow completely melted. Our Ice-Away mat is now working into it's second winter and it looks and performs like brand new. Last winter I put Ice-Away electric mat to the test during light and heavy snowfall where it proved its worth melting snow and ice repeatedly. The ample 15 foot power cord is heavy, durable and easily tucks out of the way. The mat itself is likewise rugged and sits down well and stays in place. It's heavy and flared at the edges to secure a sure footprint. The mat stays put doing it's job as an ice and snow melting sentry either 24-7 , or, just turn it on as required. Either way it'll serve you well for years to come.

Physical properties Ice-Away electric mat is 36 inches x 32 inches; weighs 17 pounds and is 1/2 inch thick. The surface treads are raised and well separated for a sure grip.

Electrical: Internal electric 120vAC heating element is embedded between two protective surfaces of non-slip rubber. Has a 15 foot power cord that plugs into standard outlets using its own Equipment Leakage Circuit breaker rating 15 Amp. Reliable- designed to be left outside for the entire winter season. Each heated mat is built and tested according to the IEEE 515.1 electrical standard. ETL and CETL Listed . In other words, it's safe to use outside in harsh conditions.

Power consumption: Voltage 40 watt per square foot; Power Density 120 vAC. In other words it operates on pennies per day.
