Here's how it works. Ramplock SystemŽ is an "L" shaped cover that fastens to the tailgate with self-tapping, self-drilling screws(included). Two ramp brackets designed to accommodate the optional folding ladder-ramps or any 2 inch thick ramp material of your choice, i.e. 2" x 10" planks that affix directly to the ramp brackets and insert easily into Ramplock SystemŽ's T-slot for positioning anywhere along the width of the tailgate. Finally, insert the safety rod through the safety bar slides. To remove the ramp(s) simply slide out the safety bar rod, remove the ramp(s) from the T-slot and place in the rear of the truck or trailer. The optional, steel ladder-ramps are 80 inches long. Hinged in the middle, they fold up to 40 inches for easy transport. Ramplock SystemŽ is an ingenious, portable ramp and tie-down system adaptable to most every pickup truck and trailer.
A real bonus is the 2 removable, heavy-duty tie-down slides for securing lumber, pipes etc. that often extend out over the tailgate. There's more! Six cargo hooks are included for securing shifting smaller, cargo ,i.e. grocery bags or the optional ladder-ramps. Both the sliding cargo hooks and tie-down slides are easily removed from Ramplock SystemŽ's T-slots.
