E9250 is the very latest model of Professional Weather Station, identical to the original model E9300 except that this model will display temperature in either Celsius (Canadians may prefer the metric measure),or, Fahrenheit,and rainfall in either inches or centimeters. Assembly is uncomplicated and takes just a few minutes. In fact my eight year old son put it together. No tools are needed. The indoor LCD Base Station display is powered by 4, AA batteries (the battery door is easily manipulated) is free standing once the base is inserted on the back of the display , then placed on most any flat surface. Alternately, Base Station unit may be hung flat on a wall instead. Because data is transmitted from the outdoor sensors by radio transmission there's no wires to contend with. The mast, or outdoor portion, consists of a lightweight stainless steel pole and two plastic weather data sensors termed "combination sensor" which gathers and transmits wind speed, temperature and other data to the indoor base station. The stainless steel pole is 60 inches long, and is assembled from three, 20 inch sections of which the bottom section is pointed for easy insertion into the ground. Of the combination sensor, one plastic weather data sensor is 20 inches high and the other 14 inches high; both are affixed to an 8 inch wide plastic base (the outdoor sensors requires 3 AA batteries). Essentially just add batteries and follow the explicit data set up as directed in the user guide which is succinct and easily followed. The entire structure is easily assembled, lightweight, strong and easy to position. Remove the data sensor unit from the pole with ease to prevent theft or vandalism if you plan to go away.

Well, up to 8 additional outdoor sensors may be added. There's the standard sensor which may be placed anywhere you might want a remote temperature display, such as a cold room, humidor, wine cellar, attic , etc.. Also P3 supply a floating Pool sensor which has it's own LCD screen with digital read out for instant information at pool side and transmitted to the indoor base station display. To view readouts at various sensor locations, simply toggle through them by pressing the sensor button on the indoor base station to interrupt the default outdoor temperature.
