Product Description:
Nylon rope hammocks are made from rope that's machine made , in house, designed with eight strands braided over a centre core, (small nicks or cuts in one strand do not weaken the integrity of the braid). The rope is then hand woven in an open weave approx 3in.(see caution) and connected with kiln dried, 1in.x2in.solid and durable, hardwood spreaders made from genuine Canadian maple. The entire hammock is UV stabilized and treated with rot and mildew protectant. The coloured braid has been solution-dyed so it will not bleed or fade. Overall length varies from 12.6ft. to 13.6 ft.
- Nylon hammocks are stronger than cotton yet soft, elastic and lusterous, their comfort is hard to beat.
- We hand weave these hammocks from 100% industrial strength nylon. The yarn we use is the same yarn used to make fishing net for the local fishing industry. It is meant to be in and out of salt water. in the sunshine, wet and dry. It is built to last yet the rope is very soft and silky to the touch.
- Our hunter green yarn is solution-dyed, the colour will not bleed or fade

- Our nylon rope has a tensile strength of 1000 lbs.
- The rope has been treated for rot, mildew and ultra violet protection.
