Hi there,
I just wanted to take a minute to write to let you know how much I like your saddles. I'm the happy owner of three of them. I've one on both my mountain bike and racer as well as my wife's hybrid. I've also convinced two people, so far, to order your seats. I do a lot of cycling to and from work. My school is actually fifty miles from my home so I put in a lot of saddle time. I've ridden for up to ten hours on your saddle without the slightest discomfort at all and my wife, who often complained about saddle-pain before, hasn't said a word since changing over to yours. They're a great conversation-starter too. The Japanese cyclists I've met have found it very interesting. Keep up the good work.

"I just wanted to send a short note regarding the Lycra covers for the bicycle seat you sell. I actually have a couple more of the seats that I got from SpongyWonder.com, and I've used them very frequently over the past 3 years. I definitely like the Lycra covers, I think it's a big improvement for the seat. ... I'll probably order a couple more sets of the covers later this month.

Regards and thanks!

"A joy to be riding again. Thanks. OK [Spongy Wonder]for roads, mountain biking a little tougher (due to balance/position changes) but overall a real blessing. I haven't had a bike for 4 years because of scar tissue after surgery.I've been looking for a seat that doesn't inflame the scars.... I'm going out to look for a bike right now."

Sincerely,

Thanks, Steve L., USA

The bike seat is great, I was going to quit riding due to pain. No more pain just did 30 miles , will go out tomorrow again. Outstanding product!

Thank you,Brian W.

I recently received my bike seat and have installed it on my bike. After using the bike now for two weeks, I am very happy with it. I ride my bike everyday up and down the hills in boulder, colorado, and I was experiencing much discomfort.I found your website, and decided to try the seat. I have absolutely no discomfort at all. I enjoy my bike 100% more than I did before. Thank you for distributing this and making it available to me in Colorado. It' great!

The seat [Spongy Wonder]is an absolute WONDER! I knew I had to make a change when after a 1 hour bike ride, it took about 5 minutes for any sensation to return to the perenium area. And when sensation did return, it hurt. That was not a good feeling. This may be more information than you wanted to know, but I tell you this to underscore my newfound joy of bike riding since I've been using the hornless bike seat. It's been 100% pain-free (except the "sit" bones), but even that is a minor annoyance compared to what I'd previously experienced. I will singing the praises of this seat to all who inquire. This is a wonderful product. Thank you for making bike-riding fun again.

Sincerely,

Thanks for the quick shipment. I think this is going to be the saddle for me.
I received the seat very quickly and could not wait to try it. I, like many others, suffer from chronic prostatitis and really enjoy the benefits of cycling and mountain biking. After trying numerous "male friendly" saddles, I have yet to find a saddle that relieves the pressure generated from both traditional and "male friendly" saddles. I rode 25 miles last night and, aside from a little soreness on my derriere, felt absolutely no pressure on the perenium area. It merely took seconds to realize how this saddle is meant for those that suffer from prostatitis. It is such a simple concept, yet no one else has taken the time to build such a durable and effective product. I have a feeling I will be using this saddle for a long time. Thanks for the great product.
I really mean what I have written. Thanks.

Greg,
I got it. Thanks a bunch. I believe it's the best seat on the market. Keep cranking em out.

Greg,
My new bike seat arrived yesterday (Sat. Sept. 28) and I installed it today and used it for a ride along the Monterey Bay Recreation Trail. It was great! Thanks for the good service and comfortable seat at last.

What a product you offer. I dreaded peddling around the Rockies on my traditional bicycle seat so I did a search and found yours. 1360 miles over many 9000+ foot passes, many 100 plus mile days, incredible beauty everywhere, and no pain. None, nada, zip, no pain- except on the soles of my feet. And I learned that if I tilted the seat forward and removed the toe clips I could peddle quite comfortably on the downhills and flats using the middle of my feet and sometimes my heels. Without the saddle horn the rider is able to develop several different positions that all result in full leg extension but reduce the wear on the soles of the feet. Now I know that no toe clips maybe sacriledge to the purists but then they're all numb from the horns on their traditional seats anyway and none of them would be reading this anyway. Thanks for a great product.

"Greg,
I got the bike seat 08/23, did a few adjustments to it and took it for a ride- 90% improvement from my previous saddle. I did a few more adjustments to it yesterday and I think I've got it- no more numb crotch.... . Thanks again."

We bought one for my wife last week---we both loved it at once. This one's for me. Great product!

Hi, Just got my bike seat. First, let me say that i haven't ridden my mountain bike in 2 yrs due to chronic prostatitis. I tried taking up walking for exercise but it requires too much time to get a decent aerobic work out. So lately, i've been researching seats and came across your model. It made sense, and i decided to try it. I mounted the seat(easy to do, no visual obstructions), sat on it and made about two adjustments. Then i found someone to loan me a bike pump to inflate my flat tires (from sitting idle). I start riding and within the first 50 ft. i was sold. It feels good. It's hard to feel GREAT when you have a flat rear end, but definitely comfortable. I could probably benefit from an additional 1/4 inch of padding, but it's much better than any thing i've used before. I may adjust the pads inward a bit. I'm looking forward to putting some miles on it when the weather breaks. I know i will get asked about this seat and i'll be happy to let people try it out. I'd give away my old seat, but that would be like quitting smoking and giving away a carton of cigarettes. Thanks for the quick shipment.

My wife and I just purchased 2 (MK-IV) seats a couple of weeks ago for our Cannondale tandem. Quite frankly, I didn't know how I was going to like it because I've tried some other male-friendly seats and had not found them very successful. We've only ridden these 40-50 miles by now, but even with that brief experience, we both love them! Within about 100 meters of getting on the first time, my wife said that it felt like she was riding naked -- and I felt exactly the same way. It took us both several stops to get the seat angles just right, but now we're convinced. They're great. We'll tell our friends.

Hello from the land of the Los Alamos Fire! I received my (MK-IV Hornless Seat) a couple of days ago, mounted it up yesterday, and wanted to report back and thank you. I've never had a more comfortable bicycle seat in the twenty-eight-odd years I've been riding! Your literature (and common sense) warned there'd be a brief period during which I'd have to get used to the new seat: Not true at all! The (MK-IV Hornless Seat) was astonishingly comfortable from the moment I parked my heinie on it.
Today I did some off-road stuff and a lot of hill climbing to see whether the (MK-IV Hornelss Seat) was going to be able to be there for me where it counts. Again, I was amazed! Climbing hills, I found I stood easier to pump, and when I got wiped out the seat was right there under my pelvic bones. It felt so natural! You folks really have a winner, and I wanted to tell you how much I'm enjoying it. Great engineering! You'll be hearing from my father soon, and (I would imagine) any friend who takes a spin on my newly outfitted bike. Thanks a bunch!

>cheers,
erich

Just a few words to let you know about riding up north on a s w. My first ride was a little odd. I didn't have the tilt set correctly, I didn't want to change it before I was sure that was the correction. My second ride confirmed the modification to make and the third ride was perfect. Bring on the dirt trails and pot holes, bottoming out is not an issue anymore. You know you got it beat when you find your self doing 12 km without even thinking about your seat. At six this morning going around Sugarloaf mountain I figured out that (MK-IV Hornless Seat) is a little like Alexander Keith's beer.
THOSE WHO BIKE IT, BIKE IT A LOT!

Happy biking,
Andre J B.

I'm afraid I've blown your statistics because my total adjustment period was about 10 minutes. The (MK-IV Hornless Seat) is such an improvement over any of my previous seats, that haven't yet considered altering the factory settings. I spent the first 5 minutes "squirming" for the right position. After that, I started trying things I couldn't do before, like arching my back.

I installed the new seat as fast as I could peel the backing off the neoprene. I headed out on my usual morning workout route. I found that the (MK-IV Hornless Seat) was allowing me to ride in the same alternate position I had developed, but without any resistance. After my first 20 minutes of riding, I would stand up to accelerate and no longer dreaded sitting back down again. So now I'm keeping the mountain bike. And I'm resisting the temptation to shout to other bikers "How can you stand that?!"
continuing to ride,

Hi..., received my (MK-IV Hornless Seat) (along with extra seat pads} some three weeks ago, after 3-4 short rides and adjustments, I have found it to be just great, it is well made, easy to adjust, eliminates all numbness, and all around a great improvement over any seats that I have seen on the market.
Thanks for creating such a great item.

The seat works great! I only ride about twice a week and not any great distance but after a few adjustments it is just fine. I will also use it on my exercise bike this winter.

Greetings..., This past Monday through today I was the instructor for the IPMBA Police Cyclist Course held in Decatur, Illinois. This was the first time I had an opportunity to use the seat with obstructions, etc. You were right in saying that it is somewhat difficult to move your butt back over the rear tire to move the center of gravity. However, with increased practice it becomes easier. The seat was very comfortable throughout the class, both in street rides as well as the other training we did.

During the police training, I teach a half-dismount then you push off, let the bike go and run after a badguy in a foot pursuit. As the bike is dumped, I decided that I was not going to use my new seat as I didn't know how the flat metal portion would handle the abuse. Well, during the road ride I found what abuse the seat would handle.
We were doing a group ride with me bringing up the rear. This way I could keep an eye on the group as well as traffic behind. Well, an elderly lady was coming down the road behind us and didn't see the bright shirts, 11 blinking lights, or the police uniforms. She proceeded to hit me from the rear with her Buick 4dr car. The hit I took shattered her windshield and my bike went flying into two other riders. The Lord blessed and I was not injured. We had one with pulled muscles and another that broke a clavical. My body armor protected me. OK, back to the bike. I went and inspected my bike. The seat post twisted but there was no damage that I could/can find on the (MK-IV Hornless Seat) other than the pads being trashed. I was very impressed with the strength of the seat. I guesstimate that she was moving around 30-35 when she hit me. I thought you would like to know how your product dealt with the abuse.

Your Servant,
Pete Avery

Just wanted to drop you a line an let you know how I am making out on the (MK-IV Hornless Seat). My initial ride was 25km and I took two allen wrenches with me and made four adjustments during the ride. This gave me a comfortable ride immediately. However, I thought I would continue and monitor the fit for a week or so and decided that I was sitting about a 1/2 inch too low and not getting the proper leg extension. I made one final height adjustment and voila. I found the magic location and pulled of a 36km trip invloving 1/3 climbing. No numbeness or pain in the crotch area. My prostate thanks you. I will be sending a picture of this to my family doctor and Urologist. Unbelievable. What a great product. It looks rather Hi-tech and very cool as well.

Bob B.

I just wanted to tell you that I had ordered the seat for my son who has a chronic problem with a testicle and he is absolutely delighted with the seat. He can ride without any pain during or, as was often the case, after. He will be doing a lot more riding these days - quite happily. Get them into sports stores! Or at least talk to urologists about them!
